The Australia Council has given me a New Work Literature grant to turn The Nelly Gang, currently a cartoon series in The School Magazine, into a graphic novel. This should be FUN! I love the graphic novel format, history, Australian history, bushrangers, paddle steamers and goats.

A second print run is arriving soon. Not available in Australian bookshops but VERY Available online.

Humpty received a starred review in the May issue of Booklist Magazine, which is a very good thing.
