The School Magazine is Australia's oldest literary magazine for children, first published in 1916. I remember it being handed down the aisles of inky desks at primary school in the 1960's. It smelled fantastic. I've had the great good fortune to have illustrated for the SM every month, ten months a year since June 1985.
